Questions I would
ask when planning a podcast: What exactly do you want to present to your
audience? How will you present this knowledge? What is the most important
information you would like to get across in the time allotted so you don’t have
information overload? Other important details: be present in the podcast,
practice it until you can speak free of notes, and use familiar and
understandable language—speak clearly. The demographics of my audience are
based on age, gender, and body type—focusing on mothers. I chose this route
because I have spent over the last 3+ years working on my fitness journey;
trying to lose weight and become more fit. It’s been one of the hardest
lifestyle changes I have ever made, but I am proud of my accomplishments thus
far. Sharing my accomplishments and progress with other mothers can help
motivate them to want to become or stay fit for their child. We are all
beautiful in our own ways, this may be one of the ways that will help boost a
mother’s confidence.
The experience
planning my podcast script hasn’t been too difficult. I did an online public
speaking class prior to this and had a little experience with recording myself
in front of camera. Recording my voice would be much easier, however, there is
a few exercises I would like to demonstrate for my topic in my podcast.
